An Intuitive Eating Approach
Imagine telling the food police to take a hike. What if you could eat what you want and also feel good about it? Seems like a novel concept, yet an impressive amount of research is shedding light on the approach that it’s actually ok to have your cake and eat it too. Intuitive Eating (IE)* helps to repair the relationship you have with food, whether it be broken, damaged, disconnected, or merely unfulfilling. It teaches you a sustainable way to choose foods that you like and that nourish your body. It challenges the way that you view your body and how you move it. Learning how to eat intuitively allows you to tune in to the eating experience and reclaim the satisfaction and enjoyment of eating you’ve likely been missing out on. It is the ease and sanity you’ve been searching for. The question is - why continue to try to be something you are not, when you can be the best version of yourself ?

Do I need Nutrition Counseling?

What Should I Expect?
Over a series of one-on-one sessions we will explore and challenge your relationship with food and movement with the ultimate goal of discovering an individualized solution to nourishing and moving your body on your own terms. We will work towards achieving food freedom - no restrictions, no rules to adhere to, just you trusting yourself and respecting your body to make the decisions that make sense for you.
We’ll learn more about each other over a complimentary introduction session where we will discuss your goals, history, and what you expect to gain from nutrition counseling. We will see if we’re a good fit for each other and discuss package options. Although packages are offered in 1-, 3-, and 6-month increments, repairing your relationship with food and movement takes time. This is your journey, but we will work together to find the package that perfectly fits your needs!

Revive
One Month

The Revive package provides an introduction to Intuitive Eating as we explore areas of your relationship with food and movement that may need to be challenged. Revive gives a taste of what nutrition counseling with an IE approach looks and feels like, and the opportunity to see if we’re a good fit for each other.

(2) 30-minute sessions

Thrive
Three Months
$700
The Thrive package delves further into the Intuitive Eating process to address your relationship with food and movement and develop solutions. Thrive is ideal for setting the course towards achieving long-term goals and will tackle the more pressing issues of your connection between food, mind, and body.

Six Months

The Sustain package provides an in-depth overview of the Intuitive Eating process with application of the principles to your unique needs and lifestyle. Does indecision over menu options exhaust you when you eat out? Do you opt for the “better” option only to feel dissatisfied? Learn how to quickly identify satisfying options and rediscover your satiety cues over a meal or snack together.
Grocer Extraordinaire
If you often find yourself wandering aimlessly through the grocery store without a plan, stop wasting your precious time. Learn how to efficiently plan and shop for meals for the upcoming week to set yourself up for success.

Remote & In-Person Options
If there is one thing the pandemic has taught us, it’s that there is more than one way to communicate. Virtual sessions provide the flexibility and ease to meet on your terms. If local, and comfortable, sessions can be held in-person (with COVID-19 protocols observed) at the office location in Anaheim Hills or even in the great outdoors. Let’s find a way that works for you!

A word about me…
You might be surprised to hear that I am an anti-diet dietitian. My mission as an RDN and Certified Personal Trainer is to spread the word that dieting and over-exercising to manipulate your body size or improve your “health” can actually do more harm than good. I’ve discovered personally, as well as through years of education, that the solution is more simple than it seems. The path to becoming an intuitive eater will feel strange and at times challenging, but I’m here to help you learn how to trust yourself to make choices that make sense for you.
